Battery Back-up Units for Relaxomatic beds and motorised bedlifters
Power cuts are thankfully very rare these days. However, they do occur from time to time and as RelaxomaticTM beds and motorised bedlifters are electrically powered, normal performance of these will be affected in the event of a general power failure.
For total peace of mind in the event of power cuts, we can supply fully rechargeable battery back-up units for both RelaxomaticTM beds and motorised bedlifters. When fully charged (in normal use they are permanently "on charge") these battery back-up units will provide enough power to raise and lower the bed or bedlifter mechanism some 20 times.
Please note that battery back-ups require specially adapted motors; if you are planning to order a battery back-up unit we recommend that you do so at the same time you order your RelaxomaticTM bed or motorised bedlifter - if you add a battery back-up unit after you have taken delivery of your bed or bedlifter, a new replacement motor will also be required.
